We are playing at SALLE BOURGIE!

Announcing our 2026 début @ Canada's premiere concert hall featuring a new work written for Duo Étrange by Juno- award-winning composer Nicole Lizée for voice, cello, & electronics.

FEBRUARY 24TH, 2026

We are so excited to officially announce our début concert at Salle Bourgie next season!

Presenting works off our debut album with ATMA Classique, the program will feature a new Salle Bourgie co-commission work written for Duo Étrange: "Urbexcelsis" by Juno-award winning composer Nicole Lizée featuring voice, cello, and electronics (we may also be playing a bit of percussion...)

We are honoured to present three additional world premiere commissions supported by the Canada Council for the Arts and other works by some of our favourite composers.

For our friends abroad, Salle Bourgie is Canada's premiere concert hall located inside the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.

You can read more about them here.

This season marks their 15th concert season, and we are honoured to be programmed alongside world class artists Roomful of Teeth, Víkingur Ólafsson, Anne Sofie von Otter, Fazıl Say, and many more!

Reserve your tickets here

Seems a bit early? It's actually extremely helpful for concert halls and artists to have as many early ticket reservations as possible, so thank you to our ticket-philanthropists in advance. Your purchase directly supports Canadian artists and institutions! ❤️\

Concert sneak peak:

Watch a recording of Jeffrey Fong's Dans un sentier tout parfumé, it will have it's Montreal concert premiere on our Bourgie Program! A new, tension filled second movement will be added for this live performance début.

Support Female-Led Artistic Entrepreneurship 🎻

We are thrilled to announce that our new collaborator, the Wicha Foundation, can issue official tax receipts for gifts of $500 or more made to Duo Étrange.
